Who am I?
A college educated computer science major with certifications in programming and PC repair. I'm also a member of the Atlanta Coldfusion Users Group. My current objective is to find a rewarding and challenging position with a great company working on innovative projects in Coldfusion, Flash, and/or Flex. The ideal company for me would foster my innovative style and offer oppertunities to expand my skills and position in the right direction.
Whats my story?
Since 1996 I have been designing and developing personal and professional web sites for both business and pleasure. Starting with hardcoding HTML in notepad, moving to CGI programming in Perl, then a leap in development with PHP and MySQL. In 2001 I found Macromedia's Coldfusion 5 and fell in love. Ever since then I have used almost all of the Macromedia (now Adobe) web developer tools in my work. Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, and Flex Builder as well as the Coldfusion Server and the Flash Media Server.
What do I know?
Along the way I have acquired several programming languages; HTML (if you still consider it a language), Perl, PHP, SQL, Javascript, Coldfusion, Actionscript, XML and MXML. I have used these languages to create everything from dynamic web sites to webservices and multimedia rich applications. I'm also an artist at heart with experience in 2-D and 3-D graphics programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D Max, and Maya. My multimedia skills cover video and audio compression and conversion knowledge as well as embedding video into applications for real-time streaming through the Flash player.
My personal interest and hobbies, besides home and family, are movies, bike riding, golf, 3D modeling/animation and real modeling, making electronica music, and of course XBox games. Most of the time I'm a serious workaholic, but I do enjoy a healthy dose of fun and activities. I consider myself reliably dependable, not afraid to speak my mind but know when to shut up. Friends say I'm methodical, detailed, friendly, trustworthy, philisophical, obsessive, and funny; a really nice intelligent guy. But I'm also modest and tired of talking about myself.
